Description
Dragon’s Blood (Croton lechleri), Sangre de Drago or Sangre de Grado, in Spanish is a tree that grows in the Amazon rainforest in South America. There are many tribes that utilize the liquid that is sourced from the tree. Dragon’s Blood is derived from the bark, to treat different conditions affecting the skin (topically) and stomach (orally).
Dragon’s Blood is harvested by Amazon Tribal community members. They make superficial cuts in the trunk of the tree and collect the red liquid that comes out.
Topically, Dragon’s Blood is applied on wounds, burns, superficial cuts, insect and mosquito bites, irritations, rashes, and many more skin ailments. Once the liquid dries it forms a film that protects the wound and alleviates diverse types of discomfort.
CAUTION: Dragon’s Blood can stain clothes, fabric, and other items in liquid form.
Orally, Dragon’s Blood is ingested by adding a few drops of Dragon’s Blood in a glass of water. It can alleviate stomach discomfort, ulcers, gastritis, and other conditions.
Suggested Use:
Shake Well Before Using
Gastrointestinal:
Add 5 drops in 8 ounces of water and take on an empty stomach 1 or 2 times per day.
Mouth wash:
Add 10 drops in 1 ounce of water and rinse mouth without swallowing.
Topical:
Apply to scratches, mosquito bites, and cuts and let dry.
