Handmade basket from natural materials of the Amazon Rainforest. Crafted by local artist, Amne from the community of Genaro Herrera, Peru. Fibers of chambira palm are collected from leaves and coiled into a beautifully designed basket rimmed with colorful seeds and blue rim. Inspired by indigenous animals, the center of the basket features a butterfly hand carved into a gourd.
