Shipibo hand carved gourd rattle with handle created by Fernando, an indigenous artist from the Shipibo community. His indigenous tribe lives in the Amazon Rainforest of Peru. Shaman rattles are an important component to a variety of ceremonies. This unique instrument is inspired by an Icaros ‘medicine song’, heart of ayahuasca and Ajo Sacha plant. The Ajo Sacha plant ‘wild garlic’ is commonly used by indigenous tribes of the rainforest to cleanse the digestive system and energetic body.
