This beautiful Shipibo manta cloth is an authentic piece of handmade art. This textile was designed and embroidered by Juanita from the Shipibo community. Juanita’s indigenous tribe lives in the Amazon Rainforest of Peru. The specific designs in this art piece are the patterns used to paint community members faces during an important cultural festivity referred to as ‘haircut’. The vibrant colors and patterns in this piece are stunning.
